Purchase Process

Thank you for the interest in one of our beautiful, loving puppies. 

We are excited to work one on one with you to find your perfect family companion. If you are interested in purchasing one of our puppies please see the purchase process below.

  • Browse the website. You can search for a puppy by breed, or you may select to shop all available puppies from the menu at the top of our website.

  • Once you find a puppy or puppies of interest there will be a brief description on each puppies page. Please feel free to give us a call or email to go over any additional questions. 

  • If you wish to buy one of our adorable babies, we take many different forms of payment. We accept most major credit cards, Apple Pay, We DO NOT take Amex. If you buy with Amex the sale will be cancelled. 

  • We offer $50 off for bank wire payments as well.

  • We offer a couple options for financing with third party finance companies.

  • You can check out online to secure your new puppy. That will take the puppy off the market and put the puppy out of stock so that two people cannot buy the same puppy. 

  • Once you have submitted full payment, we have contract and health warranty paperwork that will be emailed to the email address on the order. We will email a comprehensive shopping list so that you can prepare for your new babies' arrival.  Additionally, we will require a notarized receipt verifying that the person making the payment is indeed the cardholder and has authorized the purchase. The person buying the puppy must be present with an ID at the time of delivery/pick up. 

  • Delivery timeframes range depending on the age of the puppy at the time of purchase and when a nanny is available. 

  • We offer nationwide shipping. Shipping will be in cabin or with a ground transport driver. 

  • All puppies will come with a health clearance

  • Please contact us for a shipping quote for your area. 

  • You will be responsible for paying all shipping expenses to the person handling the puppies safe travel and any expenses related to shipping.  

  • You will be emailed the puppies vaccination records and microchip information the day of arrival along with care instructions to follow for the welfare of your new puppy and to assist with a smooth transition.

  • Your puppy will arrive clean and healthy.

Importing A South Korean Puppy from Love A Pup

Over the past 15 years South Korean puppies have
gained notoriety in the puppy market due to their elite quality.
They have that extreme, irresistible look that many have grown to adore and search for. On top of their appealing aesthetics, they also have the absolute sweetest temperaments.

This correspondence will attempt to walk you through the process of buying a South Korean puppy through Love A Pup, LLC. Once an order is placed online you will receive an automated email with your receipt and the paperwork required to fulfill your portion of the purchase.

We need ALL of this paperwork completed and returned to continue moving forward in getting your new baby home. Delay in required paperwork can delay the arrival of your puppy. Once an order is submitted the puppy will automatically go out of stock and the website will show a SOLD OUT tag on the puppy because you placed the order. So CONGRATS on your new South Korean baby! We cannot sell the same puppy twice.

Imported puppies must be 4 mos of age before allowed to enter into the US. Once your baby has is 4 mos of age the breeder in S. Korea will start the export process. That includes the export veterinarian exam, the Dept. of Agriculture exam and microchipping, and obtaining all paperwork in your name.

Once that is done they will submit all to the airline for approval, then they will let us know the next available date for shipping. Shipping is “usually” booked for flight 14-30 days after the 4 mo age. It is dependent on how booked cargo is for the port you selected at that time. If there seems to be a backlog beyond the usual time you may choose to travel to a different port on the list or patiently wait. These logistics are completely out of our control.

*Please note: If you have any days, or dates that you are not available we need to know ASAP so this can be noted in your file to avoid conflicts or further delays. For example, Thursdays are not possible, or we have a wedding to attend on these dates, or we have a vacation on these dates. What happens now? Not much we wait for shipping information. Sometimes you may get a call from the airline before we get the information. Once we receive the information we will forward it all to you. The airline will call you to get the “authorization to forward” the puppy to the port you selected. Please be sure to ask for pick up instructions from the airline and get the name of whom you speak with. Email or message us the name of the agent you spoke to so we have it on record. If they send you an email please forward copy of that email to us at sales@loveapup.com. It is imperative that you check voice mails and follow up with any calls from the airline to give the authorization to forward in a timely manner. If you fail to do so there will be a $250 re-booking fee applied and it will need to be paid in advance before rebooking. Please understand that we cannot do any of this leg work as we will not be the consignee on the reservation. Importing a puppy or anything into the US goes through the US Customs computer system and requires the buyers due diligence and cooperation.
